The holiday apartment is located by the lake in the beautiful mountains, in the west part of the country. It is a totally quiet habitat surrounded by nature, as a private nest for relaxation. The end goal was to design a very simple and contemporary interior. The task was to build an interior design with a high level of customization efficiently and cost-effectively, in which the owners would feel refreshing, comfortable and cocooned in their own space.

In the main foyer and every area through the apartment the visitor can see wonderful wooden cover details on the walls and ceilings, which also serve a purpose of a sound membrane. It is very discreet throughout the apartment.
One of the apartment’s highlights is the living area with the kitchen design and dining, which serve to the functional needs and the purpose to enhance guests experience, equipped with comfortable and cozy seating furniture to feel the holiday comfort. The interior is filled with wooden details that reflect the nature in the mountain atmosphere.
The location of the owner’s bedrooms is in a separate zone, in the back of the apartment. This relaxing zone is designed with a lot of attention to the sound and light, for the owners to experience the maximum of calm and relaxation. The apartment interior is carefully designed with a lot of space for storage and extra ventilation.

The whole interior is designed with mixture of natural elements and materials like wood, glass, stone, and decorative objects that represent nature, water and the Sun. Panoramic views of the nature, wood and lake can be seen in every room through the wide windows.

An advice to the owners, while designing this interior, was to build a sustainable place for hobby and leisure that is gonna last 15 maybe 20 years or more and the family will grow in it. The owners and designers are very conscious of the environment now, so one holiday apartment over your life’s spent and improvement of that is so much valued, as the family will build memories in it through their lifetime.
The house is equipped with smart gadgets and devices to regulate light, temperature and ventilation in the interior very easy and simple. It is also designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save water and energy and reduce waste during construction and the house’s lifetime, by using solar and raindrops harvesting systems.

The philosophy of the design and investment in the interior, as well as investment in their owner’s time spent in this interior, is to get the ultimate enjoyment of their holiday home, as it is not just a financial investment but also an emotional one. It is essential that the end result is a perfect environment exactly the way owners would like to live in.
