Renovating the interior of two apartments that have been combined into one cohesive space unit, requires careful planning to ensure functionality, harmony and visual appealling interior design.

Designing the interior of this project for a five- membered family was approached with defining new functional zones in the joint spaces, defining storage solution, defining the style of each room, furniture selection, ceiling design, lighting and accessorizing.
The layouts of the two apartments were integrated seamlessly by eliminating existing walls, adding new walls and defining one entrance zone.

The living space is defined like an open space area with the kitchen and dining zone, but the bedrooms with the storage unit and utility are placed in separate zone of the new apartment. The athmosphere in the living area is elevated by installing designed ceiling with decorative elements and moldings, maximized lighting, designed elevated floor level in the dining space and designed cooking island in the kitchen area. The furniture in the living room is arranged to encourage conversation and social interaction, taking into account focal points like the TV unit and the installed fireplace. The materials that are used on the floor and walls contain natural wood and marble. The living space is complemented with a custom made fireplace and water wall that add a luxurious touch in the interior design.
Every bedroom has a unique style and is eqquiped with custom made furniture, complemented with modern wall techniques and colors. The furniture pieces are appropriately scaled to the size of the space that provide smooth circulation through the rooms.

The interior is enriched with finishing touches by the payed attention to details such as door handles and light switch plates for a polished finish. By fullfilling the specific needs and preferences of the owners, it is created a beautifully integrated interior design for the renovated joint apartments.
