Project: Interior design of a weekend house

The project represents an interior design of a two store weekend house. The location of the house is surrounded by nature, which reflects on the design that has big floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the breathtaking nature views from its interior. The designed space reflects simplicity, luxury and coziness, blending contemporary style with natural elements to complement the surrounding landscape.

The ground floor has an open floor plan layout that seamlessly connects the living, dining and kitchen area. This not only maximizes space but also encourages flow and interaction between the different space zones. The interior design has a lot of natural materials such as wood, stone and leather to bring the outdoors natural materials inside. The exposed wooden beams on the ceiling add a rustic charm, while the stone accent walls around the fireplace and TV unit create a sense of warmth and ambience. A large, inviting zone is the living room which is equipped with sofas and armchairs in neutral tones. The kitchen design is practical, in green color that again represents nature. The fireplace zone is designes as cozy reading nook overlooking the nature views or a serene meditation corner.

The bedrooms are placed on the upper floor and every room is an intimate space, arranged according to the needs of the room’s occupant. They are designed with large windows for a panoramic view and a lot of natural light in the day time. Every bedroom has a unique interior design style that meets the individual taste of the room’s owner.
